i thought the APU had a propeller that spins in the rushing air and generates power like an alternator. deployed once airborne in an emergency.

we had a plane with the apu not working. they had to bring a generator over to start the engines....all I could sit and wonder was, what happens if an engine dies midair and they need to restart it? there's no generator available 30k ft up.
