If I take more hair on the side that’s less dense and cut to the same guide on the hair that’s more dense will it be even bc the weight is more similar that way or no?

I have a question as a cosmet student as well, why can’t you split the hair down the middle and cut regularly then just style with a side part at the end if that makes sense?
