Women often blur the line between co-workers & true friends. I was mostly private, but I let my guard down & shared personal details with two colleagues, believing we’d be lifelong friends. As the years passed & I truly got to know them, I realized they weren’t my kind of people at all—& I deeply regretted oversharing. When I finally left that job, I cut ties completely. I let go of those two & everyone else from that workplace. I wanted no part of my old co-workers—especially them—in the new chapter of my life.

I grew up with very cruel broken people and because of that I constantly seek validation from others -Even when I’m self aware before I know it I’m oversharing again 🤦🏽‍♀️it’s been hard trying to break the cycle
