I would prefer buying rabbit pelts that are from meat rabbits than rabbits raised just for their fur. To me that is more respectful to the animal.

I used to raise a small amount of meat rabbits when I was in highschool and trying to talk to anyone whether young or old about things like this or was like the skit in the video 😔 anyways farm raised rabbits for the win 💖

I feel like people don't understand that it takes resources to feed, care for, board, and raise animals… And that those activities inherently mean the animals are important to the farmers. Literally, nobody cares about animals more than farmers.

that's why it's ethical sourcing. you know exactly how the animals lived (their best lives) and meat rabbits are often bigger, so you get more pelt from each one.
