I made your Dutch apple pie last Thanksgiving and for the first time in my family a dessert was completely devoured. Not a crumb left! This year I’m going to try this pie because my husband and daughter prefer an old fashioned apple pie. So excited!!

I put mine in the fridge to chill while the oven preheated set my one hour timer and forgot my pie in the freezer LOL so now it’s actually in the oven after been in the freezer for an hour. Will it be messed up?! This is what I get for making home made apple pie with a 5,3,&1 year old 🤣

This is a super interesting way to cut the apples in half lengthways. I like the brown sugar idea only to add a deeper Carmel flavor.

I love baking, it’s a new found hobby but there’s a problem; I’m deathly allergic to cinnamon. Do you have a recipe or tell me that this recipe will be okay without it? I’ve tried a two of recipes already, both went great with my parents, my biggest fans, but my dad really loves apple pie. I want to make it for him just as a happy surprise for my new found love. If you can tell me that it’ll be okay without cinnamon or point me to recipe that doesn’t have it, I’ll REALLY appreciate it. ☺️💛

How are the apples? I usually warm them up a bit but they release so much water and become too soft in the pie. Are the apples still soft but crisp?
