@abbeyskitchen: I am one of 15% of Canadians who experience the winter blues, which makes our dark cold Canadian winters a real slog (#ad). So here’s what I focus on when I feel the seasonal slump setting in: 1. Light therapy with my @orionrlt One. Early research suggests red light therapy may potentially help reduce some depression symptoms, while helping to support circadian alignment, exercise recovery and even collagen stimulation (bonus!) So I start my morning with 10 minutes and end my day reading in front of the Orion One until my eyes feel tired and I feel ready for bed. Check out their Black Friday sale from Nov 10-Dec 2 for up to 35% off, and use code ABBEY for an additional 10%. 2. Turn off those phones (the blue light interferes with natural melatonin!) 3. Take a mid-day walk for fresh air, sunshine and movement. 4. Build Hunger Crushing Combo meals to help stabilize my blood sugars while helping support more even keeled energy, focus and mood. Let me know what cold weather mental health survival strategies you use in the comments below! #redlighttherapy #seasonaldepression #winter
I need this. Getting dark outside by 5pm is killing me.

Been using a SAD light since 1991. I also make sure to get sunrise light when I walk. It makes a big difference

Respectfully.. that is an incorrect usage of that light panel (btw..its a good product). You distance from the LEDs is too far and it does not go through clothing. Also, the eyewear is utterly unnecessary.
