as much as I loved this event it was not the best 💔 I also wanted to see Layla and Sethos talk he's this extroverted happy guy and I think she would enjoy talking with him. not to mention this event only had 2 quests and not the usual three💔

there’s no third quest because they weren’t able to find sethos and layla because they were kissing and stargazing true and real

I agree with most of the comments here. Actually, I sometimes feel like Layla is kinda distant from the others. I notice that she’s always with the Traveler and only opens up really well to them. Well, maybe that’s just because Traveler was the first person she met and the one she feels most comfortable with and maybe it's because of her personality (she’s introverted and probably feels like an outsider around the others, which I totally get), but I still hope they develop their interactions more, they barely interact :’) Even in last year’s Sumeru event (Nahida’s birthday one), Layla wasn’t there (same with Wanderer). It’s sad since I really love the Sumeru characters and idc, I’m greedy, I want them all together in one frame 😭💔 I want Layla to be part of them too. This event is too short and kinda feels unfinished. But as long as it’s Sumeru, I still like it lol, especially since I get to see endless Cyno jokes and the silly trio together 😭

Genshin had the opportunity to absolutely cook and they sadly didn’t take it. I loved the event quest sm but I too thought they would interact more with eachother :( I love these 2 sm. doesn’t matter if in a romantic or platonic way these two would be absolutely perfect together

I think its the hoyo thing again, when every character is either paired with a character of a same gender or barely interact with anyone but traveler. God forbid a boy talks more to one of travelers waifus and chemistry is present... anyway I kinda liked the event, but it lacked complexity, I hoped to find something more groundbreaking then a crumb of Layla lore. Bringing Nefer into game was such an opportunity to work more on Sumeru and feed the sumerufandom.. I was hoping for something to happen, to change for Layla since Mitski studied her "somnambulism", yet theres nothing? 😩
