Pro Tip that I used successfully on many early Audi A4's was to disconnect both Heater Hoses, attached a length of hose vertically and added White Vinagar and allowed it to gravity feed for an hour or so then come back with a garden hose and flush alternately in both directions. If needed I would repeat with White Vinagar and repeat with the Garden Hose Flushing. I was successful most of the time.
I replaced more than my share of Heater Cores over decades during my career as a Professional Wrench.

I can see the tech is not use to pulling dash boards . next time pull the steering caulum out and lay the dash on the seat or pull the dash all the way out to have space

Come on man I have had cars for up to 20 years and never flushed. My coolant. Never had a problem. I think this is isolated.

Looks like a Dodge truck. I don't know why, but the casting of the engine block has something to do with rust forming in the block which is transferred to other components in the cooling system. Regulator changes of coolant would have prevented this. This has been going on back in the 70s. Of course antifreeze is the most neglected fluid in all of our vehicles. We don't change it until we have a problem with the cooling system. At least a $1500 repair going on there.
