so last year for my two adult children, I bought a big black tub and in it I placed laundry items paper towel towels, toilet paper, air, freshener, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, anything that was expensive for them to buy on their own. They were delighted.

Our family dad an Amazon registry with a $25 limit and the gifts depend on how many people are in the family so my family eight so we choose a thing on Amazon and that way everybody walks away with a gift and it’s in budget

I have 2 kids. I always go by number of gifts. We take turns opening so it always works out that everyone has an equal number of turns. And I wrap everything. I wrap candy, little toys- everything.

I always spend the same amount on our 3 girls. Their brother just a bit more because he still lives at home, just a few things for Christmas morning. When the girls were little it may have looked like one got more or less because of cost of what they wanted. I would say i understand how it looks but you each got the same amount of money spent on you. I miss the Christmas mornings when they were little and the excitement of seeing the gifts under the tree, etc.

I don’t spend the same on each of my kids because they all have different wants at varying prices, they do get the same amount of presents tho. They’ve always been happy with that.
