even after getting a new transmission my car does this . why?. if I'm in stop and go traffic but finally I can go the rpm will move but my acceleration will barely and then finally if I ease off my gas pedal and then give it more it will go back to normal slowly..

My situation (I live in trailer park with lots of speed bumps): starts car and slowly takes off. when car shifts from 1st to 2nd it jerks, then I have to slow to speed bump. take off again and it will do it again (feels like being hit in a bumper car). sometimes I can make it not do it if I pedal it soft enough (hold steady), or if I just take off quicker. ideas?
