As someone who worked in the surgery world for years…. Ask what his infection control rate is, and how often does he have to do revisions.

I have had a lot of operations, a-lot . My surgeon is one of the top neurosurgeons in London. But, my life has changed forever. So I tell people if it isn’t urgent, research, , research surgeons, wait, and plan. With your father in law and all you have on I can imagine how hard recovery would be on you & ur family. So yes tears are totally acceptable. Hugs from Scotland 🏴 💛🌼

it’s a morton’s neuroma!!!! exactly what you are describing. they need to do steroid injections, custom orthotics in your shoes, and they can surgically correct it!! - a podiatrist medical assistant

A little long story. I needed to have rotator shoulder surgery and the surgeon I was seeing is a doctor I referred patients to through my work. I did medical referrals for a family practice office. So I told him if he didn’t do a good job that I would not refer anymore patients to him. The day of the surgery he came to see me before they rolled me back, I told him REMEMBER what I told you about my referrals to him. Now on the 19th I’m having a total knee replacement and he is doing that surgery too. I reminded him what I had told him about my referrals. LOL 😂

what you’re talking about is called a Morton’s Neuroma and that’s exactly what it feels like when you step on the ball of your foot so I can see why your other Dr thought that’s what it was.
