Grew up in Texas and I've had potato salad like this pretty much my whole life, little less mayo maybe. They sell and make heavy mayo versions too, but curious what south German potato salad is like.

I make mine the same way 😁 my mom is 92 and she is from Germany. I remember being there for the holidays. It was such a simple time back then.

So interesting!!! This is exactly how we make potato salad in the south in the us! I just looked it up and there was a big wave of northern Germans that migrated to the south mainly the Carolina’s (I’m from South Carolina!) so interesting!
