As someone who been in the medical field for 5 years now let me tell you he’s not wrong! The biggest regret I have been told by hospice patients is not traveling, having kids too young, not being able to enjoy life, regretting not doing something they wanted. It’s so so sad but I take that into consideration I can’t wait to travel next year! Getting my passport and finally breaking the cycle and having fun enjoying my youth.

everyone young person 20s of younger should work w the elderly at least once in life. it shifts ur perspective early on so that u don’t take mobility & youth for granted. i’m 28. my early 20s were spent working w elderly people. i learned so much. i dance any chance i get.
