Balance sometimes feels like compromise. And in compromise, both sides lose. In sacrifice, however, one side wins. 💛

I see balance as a pendulum. One place to another, one extreme to another but finding balance on the extreme itself, which usually brings equilibrium.

do you have a neurodivergence? I have this all or nothing thing and its characteristic of neurodivergent black and white thinking

Instead of balance, mind your valence.
Reading writes your brain. Writing reads your brain. Amending one consideration spins another into abate. And to chase clarity is to evolve into new forms of mania.
Every sequence has a consequence, and while it looks like it's designed to make every action return to zero and become meaningless, it never will.
As the world moves on into new direction, all of those simple forgotten actions will shape the mean, if you know what I mean.

I meet a older man at the Denver airport back in August he’s a retired professor and he came up to and told me he was shocked to see me reading a book of short stories by Clarice he’s favorite author and to see someone one actually reading a book in public. We had a nice long conversation about books

It’s also amazing to know that she traveled Europe with his husband during her adult life during the world war but returned to Brazil when the dictatorships were in play. All of it marked by conflict and helplessness. Her books are very transformative.

Julia Kristeva’s Black Sun is a very good philosophical and psychological explanation of where that type of writing comes from; the disintegration of language and the expression of the pre-verbal
