I remember the first time I was approached by a man, it was when I was in my first ever solo travel overseas. I know the city I was travelling in was very safe, but I was still nervous being a first-timer, plus the crowd of people on that day made me anxious. Many years before, my male friends had already told me they find me intimidating and said it's probably why men don't approach me. But a man approached me that one time I showed vulnerability. 🥴 That experience taught me a lesson; that if I don't want to be bothered by strangers, I should not lose my composure in stressful situations when I'm travelling or simply going out alone. lol
