I had also hoped for sonething bigger to come out around the special kids. I liked it, but there had been do much build up, that I expected it to be "more". Get used to that. The show is really good at building things up, nut doesn't always seem able to meet the build up. Still really good, though.

I too just finished the season 2 finale! I was SO glad the yellow eyed demon was dealt with, that character got on my nerves lol. It was a good ending but you’re right, it wasn’t a really big one.

Season 3 was really affected by the writer's strike that happened during filming. Shortened the season to just 16 episodes and really affected the story. By a lot. The later episodes were basically cobbled together and the finale was not whatcwas originally planned. But, it ended up working out for the better. For season 4, which is wild.
