DIY Giant Cat Tree for $15: From Tree Branch to Cat Paradise What happens when creativity meets a love for cats? In this video, we turn a simple tree branch and an old tire into a giant DIY cat climbing tree that cats absolutely love. After removing the bark, sanding it smooth, and treating it with protective wood oil, the branch became the main structure of the cat tree. A discarded tire was cleaned and turned into a solid base filled with concrete, making the entire structure incredibly stable. Next came the fun part - wrapping the trunk and tire with hemp rope for scratching, adding wooden platforms for climbing, and installing small decorations and toys. After three days of work, the result was a massive cat climbing tree that cost only about $15 to build. As soon as the project was finished, the cats immediately climbed all over it. Some lounged on the platforms, others sharpened their claws, and a few adventurous ones even used it to jump onto the roof to enjoy the view.
