as a teenager id have said leave it be. but as a parent now, I think id probably tell them the truth. it may be time for a heart to heart from parent to kid to make sure they are being safe and making good decisions.

it depends if your wanting to keep the job or not. if the parents find out about the party and find out you knew about it and didnt tell them they may not be very happy and may not want to continue having you clean their house.

Tell them. Why would you let a kid try to manipulate you? Those parents hired you, and you have to justify an upcharge so being honest is the way to go. If the kid doesn't want to get in trouble suggest the kid cleans up the extra mess and you do you usual clean. Otherwise if you get left to do it, the parents find out.

i mean the parents are the ones paying and thats gonna take a lot of extra time and product. the kid shouldve been more careful since they know u come on sundays they shouldve had it tidied before u got there had the party on friday or something or gone somewhere else

I would tell them start helping and your parents won’t find out bc I won’t have to charge them a lot extra. Honestly and trust go hand in hand. The least they could do is get rid of the empties and people. Take the garbage out and remove it off premises we all did the parties etc having a trusting adult around made things easier
