The best was when laptops had removable batteries and you removed the battery, plug in the laptop and use it like a PC

I used to leave my macbook air plugged in 24/7 like a desktop then after 6-7 years later, the battery was still in pristine condition until my kid spilled icecream on it 😂

Maybe depends on the laptop brand? My HP is ok for now(5yrs using it) but my dell laptop got bloated battery because of this

not the same on phones tho, phones don't have bypass charging, unless ur phone has bypass charging like some gaming phones.

My brother and I bought the same MacBook Pro in 2013. I always used it plugged in, but he didn't. He changed the battery in 2019, and I will in January 2025.
