Capitalism also Butchers Democracy - Feudalism = Politics + Economics together - Capitalism = Politics + Economics separate (although, I’d argue Trump has somewhat linked the two again in an attempt to weaponize the economy for political gain) - “Rule of the Market” aka Corporatocracy, severely limits collective action/bargaining, democratic and public control, by putting large corporations out of reach of Politicians/Public Control… (Lobbyists) - Laissez-Faire Capitalism = Liberal Colonialism - Neoliberals/Progressives only shield Capital and fuel class disparities

The "why, why?" is the bread and butter here - and exploring the answer teaches us an important lesson in that capitalism is a recent human construction. Class society was invented and solidified over thousands of years, slowly tinkering our brains through new and changing material conditions, and power structures, ultimately ending the original egalitarian society we are truly made to operate within.
