Visi's ending redemption is weak from a narrative standpoint. she's a spy the entire time and lies to Robert about it when she confesses her feelings for him by telling him she quit after placing the bomb. she may have quit but it wasn't for long bc she was a double agent the entire game/show. her jumping in front of the bullet doesn't justify her past nor should it redeem her. especially considering if you don't hold her accountable for her actions in early gameplay, she kills Shroud and picks up his mantle

One of the biggest problem with her character is that the story doesn’t really address her character flaws. She doesn’t listen to others and act like she knows better than everybody else. The narrative never call her out on that and make her develop. It just acts like taking a bullet for Robert is a replacement for character development. Did you plug your ears during the locker room scene where she told you he turned her augments off because she left, or when shroud literally said Visi betrayed him during episode 7?
