Ontake and even the JR Takayama Line trains passing by ✨ At night, the view of the hot spring town is absolutely stunning. Located on a hill overlooking the Gero Onsen area, “Gero Onsen Shougetsu” offers breathtaking panoramic views. The guest rooms are cleverly designed so that nothing obstructs the scenery. With only three rooms per floor and a total of 21 rooms, it provides an exceptionally spacious and luxurious atmosphere. The room featured in the video is a corner room on the 4th floor with an open-air bath, 68㎡. Reservations can only be made directly through the official website. Meals are served in private dining rooms. Unusually for modern Japanese inns, the Okami (female proprietor) personally greets each guest during dinner—a traditional Japanese hospitality style rarely seen today.
