I want let you guys know. There’s a restaurant in Kichijoji that serves food inspired by Studio Ghibli movies, but it’s not officially licensed. They avoid using Ghibli or character names and call it an “homage,” so it’s kind of a legal gray area. If you’re in Kichijoji, there’s also Shiro-Hige’s Cream Puff Factory. It’s run by Hayao Miyazaki’s sister-in-law and is well known for its Totoro cream puffs, so it has a much closer connection to Ghibli.
