Ugh this scene will always get me😭😭😭the way Bev watched them do this and then tried to frantically bury herself in the sand because she was a coward and didn’t truly believe God would save her after all she did to seem pious. So incredibly moving and haunting.

His character is written so beautifully and so good as a muslim minority. I can say it’s the best depiction of faith and Islam from a western media which I didn’t expect at all!! Also i watched house of usher after this and his character is like the complete opposite lol i am shocked at how good he is. Such a talented actor!!
