One of my favourite things about this version of Claudia is that she still acts like a child even after centuries of living. One thing people forget about immortal children is that since their bodies don’t age, their brains don’t age either, so Claudia has the experiences of centuries of living, but her brain will never be able to develop the emotional regulation that comes with adulthood.

brad Pitt with long hair as louis is so diabolicallll. I mean his speaking gives so much of Anderson but god the way he hits the table and his hair floats, giving sooooo much Sam Reid to me. idc it was made earlier, the show versions are the originals for me

Claudia and Louis always reminded me of the saying "like mother like daughter" even though everyone would says Lestat gave the more motherly vibe to her, I believe it was Louis, who found her and wanted to save her and loved her like his own and mourned her throughout the rest of his days, the daughter he always wanted but never got to keep

Annie Rice wrote Claudia to be like her own daughter and Lestat to be her husband. The whole thing was a metaphor for her grief. Btw. Like Lestat is named after her husband Stan and Claudia was the nickname of their daughter. Like I can’t. 😭😭😭

People in the comments who say the show was better didn’t even watch the movie can stay biased but it’s not better than this movie. This movie hits the gothic feel, many amazing actors, the writer herself loved it. You can even say the show was modeled after the movie in many ways.
