It shocks me now but when I went to the doctors about this years ago, he prescribed me blood clotting tablets to minimise the bleeding!!

This was me at 13 years of age… I was told to go on the pill, they eventually put me on the highest strength and my life changed! Now at 33 years of age I’m wondering if it was endo?!

So frustrating isn’t it!! I’ve been every month for the last 6 months. Last visit the dr (male) told me it couldn’t be that bad as I was at the surgery talking to him. Then said he’ll put me on the pill. I nicely suggested he reads my notes, where there was a referral to an IVF clinic because we’re trying to have a baby. He asked me if I wanted the pill anyways 🙃

GP told me, that they don’t want to spend NHS money on diagnosing me with pcos because I’m not wanting kids rn and that it’s a syndrome not a disease, so I should get over it ✨
