If you don't have a sourdough starter but want to bake bread today, definitely try this recipe! You won't fail!😉 ※I use 5 quarts of Dutch oven! Ingredients 4 cups bread flour 2 cups warm water (under 110°F) 2 tsp active yeast 2 tsp salt 2 tsp sugar 50 ml olive oil Directions 1. Add active yeast to lukewarm water and let sit for about 10 minutes. 2. Place the flour, salt, and sugar in a big bowl and mix well. Then add the 1. 3. Mix with a rubber spatula until everything comes together. 4. Cover it with plastic wrap and let it ferment in the oven with only the light on for two hours. Just the light!💡 5. After two hours, perform the stretching and folding process on the dough as shown in the video. Then, cover it with plastic wrap and let it ferment again until the dough doubles in size, which takes about 30-60 minutes. 6. Then Start preheating the oven at 450°F! Preheat the Dutch oven as well. 7. Once the dough has doubled in size, take it out and shape it as shown in the video. 8. Transfer the dough to a preheated Dutch oven, bake it in a 450°F oven for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for another 20 minutes.
