Where line is is the negative part of the diode where the other side is the positive. The positive side serves as the input where your current should pass through while the side with the line is connected to any part that links the battery +ve.

This work is not complete Sir because the diode will supply 5volt instead of 4volt and after the battery is full, the next thing is for the battery spoil so think of a way of getting 4.5 volt from the charging port line
