People like her need to learn that these children are writing these list to Santa. They do not know that they are an angel tree kid so if you don't wanna do a kid with a hefty list, don't pick that kid then. Because it's just cruel to say hey Santa only gave you this one gift Santa gave everyone else 10 or more gifts but you only get one.

I fear many of yall miss the point. The Angel tree donations is for the kids to receive the magic of Christmas. Their parents provide the necessities and these are gifts from Santa. Asking for a remote control car and getting a soccer ball is not cool. You ask for something specific and don’t get it, that’s disappointing no matter your financial situation. These kids deserve a Christmas and to get the things they want. If it’s out of your budget, choose a cheaper list instead of going off track.

My 8yr old does the Angel tree shopping with me. She would have emotionally crashed out on me if i said were only getting them one gift to open. Apparently my daughter has more empathy than grown adults 🙃

On the other spectrum there is a wonderful human who genuinely fulfilled a little girls list and then realized the honey bee she got was not what was asked for and went back and bought the honeybee (calico critter) set AND MORE and had it added to the bag 😭😭😭😭😭

No she should have just not donated!! You get them everything on their list!!!! These are kids that might not get anything for their birthday, Easter, valentines ect! The angel tree is supposed to be all the gifts they want! It’s better not to do it at all so someone else who can afford it can get everything on their list!
