dude, i have 6 root canals, lost count of all the cavities, 5 extractions and one dental implant, waiting for my second one, AND at least three teeth infections. i don't even know what to do anymore. it seems the more i care about my teeth, the better oral hygiene i practice, the worse it gets😭

I've been a dental assistant for 12 years. I've seen people who don't ever brush and don't have cavities, and people who take very good care and still get cavities. Nothing to be embarrassed of!

i feel so fucking seen cus same asf. i brush my teeth regularly but i genuinely keep getting cavities and my teeth breaking even after getting them done. its been 7 years now and this year i avoided the dentist and now i have like 7 new cavities and 3 missing ones. i just chipped 2 while eating literal pizza.

Bad teeth are more genetic than the dental industry wants you to think. Care matters, but some people have softer enamel. (Sincerely, someone with sjogren’s and chronic dry mouth who has sunk $2K in dental costs this year)

This is extremely common for women. The ph of women's saliva is actually lower (more acidic) than men. What has saved me is a toothpaste with nano hydroxyapatite AND xylitol. Hope this helps
