I would buy one if I could control the flow of water more accurately. as a foundryman I have to use refractory to make repairs to my furnace and the mix is max 10% water. I tried the mud mixer yesterday and it worked but I wasted almost two bags of material on trying to dail in the water

nope thats a lie, 2 - 80lb bags is all it will take. I just did a job with 35 bags 80lb bags
