It’s too time consuming picking them by hand. Lay a large net or cloth on the bottom of the tree and a hit the branches gently with a cane. The olives will fall down. That’s how opive picking is done in Greece. 🥰

Now I want to add an olive tree to my yard. 😂 Altho I am the only one in my house that likes olives. 😁 how do you tell when they are ready? Some in your video are free and some are purple. Is it more of a size thing? Always love your videos. I've learned so much from you over the past couple years

We planted two olive trees this year. I can’t wait for them to produce. But I realize I have a lot to learn when it comes to preserving them. I knew about the soaking of them, but I didn’t realize that it was that long of a process. Thanks for the information. It was very helpful.

my childhood next door neighbor had an olive tree. I asked my mom if we could cook with the ones that fell down, and my mom said it was way too much work to do that. mom, you're right lol
