I use sink water BUT I was noticing water marks and cloudiness so I bought de-scaling tablets on Amazon and have run a few descaling cycles and it’s cleaned the machine right up and removed the mineral buildup!

My house has water softener system so I don’t do the distilled water & my pediatrician doesn’t sterilize if baby is healthy and no premie.

I have a brita filter pitcher that I fill up after every time I pour the water into the washer. So once I fill the washer with bottles, I have filtered water available! There’s some water marks but with how often we use ours I wasn’t buying a bunch of distilled water. Also I suggest cleaning the bottle washer with a 1/3 cup vinegar and fill rest with water and run empty! I do this once a month to prevent/clean build up!

I use my sink water lol there’s water drop marks when they dry but it doesn’t bother me and doesn’t have residue or anything!

We 1000% use the bottle washer with sink water..Just rinse them before putting them in to avoid the water marks. I only sterilize everything that’s new from box/plastic and I do her binkies every weekend! And then I do her toys here and there- especially if they come in the car and back into the house

Omg I never used distilled lol. Sink water 😩😩😩 I’m sanitizing every day as well but phasing it out around 3-4 months. My little one is only 6 weeks old

I just use my dishwasher to wash everything! And I only sanitize like once or twice a week when I remember to do so

i use distilled because i also thought it was annoying and tried sink water…immediately no 😭 there were so many marks i was having to rewash them. so i only used distilled now

The water stain totally bother me. It’s up to you if it bothers you I also descaled the machine a few times and it’s still got the watermark so I might try the distilled water.

I didn’t even know that was a thing. I’ve only used sink water. There could be water marks if you have hard water. But it’s not a huge deal. & i don’t sterilize everything.. the bottles bc the washer does it. But I’ll only throw her tethers in there if the dog gets to them 🙄🙄🙄🙄 lol otherwise I just wash with soap and water

We use distilled but I also don't drink tap water in general. We buy bottled water for drinking because I don't trust our water. We got a letter saying it's "possible" there's lead in our pipes. I sterilize anytime I use the momcozy, the full cycle.
