@theageofcinema: In 'Man of Steel', there's a scene where Superman gets trapped inside the gravitational force of 'The World Engine'.  After that, he tries to fly directly towards the ship to destroy it. While taking an immense strain, there's a close-up and you can see Henry Cavill's face morph into what appears to be Christopher Reeve for an instant. It's not clear if this was intentionally done in CGI or if this is simply a coincidence, as director Zack Snyder has stated that this scene was not planned at all, but we cannot deny that this has to be one of the greatest unexpected homages in cinema.

Honestly I didn't think I would like him as superman growing up watching Christopher Reeve. Chris was the only Superman ever. Henry changed my mind. He's not Chris but he represented Superman in the best way.
