Eddie went home to Heaven November 13th 2005 after suffering heart failure.He was very opened about his love for Jesus Christ and shared his faith with others in a gentle and respectful way. There will never be another one like Eddie. He will always in my heart. Eddie was known as a charismatic, hard-working.and kind person who struggled with addiction in his life. Those who knew him described him as a generous and supportive individual who helped others and was loved by other professional wrestlers and was loved by millions of fans. Wrestling and faith were intertwined for Eddie. His faith in God grew significantly after overcoming addiction, and he expressed that God helped him through his struggles and was a source of peace.
