Proper clothing makes a huge difference. Gloves and coats have to be wind proof. Eddie Bauer, LLBean REI, LandsEnd, Patagonia and NorthFace. And layers, don’t forget the layers.

Honey, by Boston standards, last winter was nothing. Something tells me this winter will be a traditionally brutal Boston winter. Long down coat with a hood and hat, down mittens, excellent socks and boots, and don't put your heat above 67. You must acclimate. See you in May!

If your living in the city-city part of Boston. That part of Boston was built on top of water and you’re right near & on the ocean water. And so that’s why the cold will hit really different.
