I got a root canal like 20 years ago and it still comes back to haunt me like I’ve had to have it replaced and food always still gets caught in it

Girl about 10 years ago, I was eating a lean cuisine and I bit down just eating it normally and there was a piece of bone in there that shouldn’t have been and it cracked my back tooth completely in half. All that said they wanted me to do a root canal and I said no way I don’t have the money for that so they removed that back molar And lean cuisine gave me money towards it because I complain and they said it was gonna be a problem in the future I haven’t had any problems whatsoever. None of my teeth have moved. My teeth are still in perfect condition no issues, but I know a root canal would’ve been much worse and way more expensive..
