It appears like ever other haas machine if you add the options to be actual useable might as well spend the same money on a vf2. Rpm is fine but what is the horsepower on the spindle.

So it's 25k with no tool change pockets or coolant system, and isn't supposed to be a hobbyist machine? sounds like "let's sell it for as high as we possibly can and tack on the installation fees, and cost of of the tool holder pockets and the coolant. what a rip off

add on rigid tapping, add on high speed milling, add on activating the usb port....on and on and on. this is why the foreign machines are killing haas. I am just waiting until haas adopts some kind of subscription service for their machines.
