@expedition.ola: Pemmy Part 3 — Her Forever Home 🏡💗 Six months ago, we dropped Pem Pem off at her forever home in San Diego. Usually timid in new places and around new people or dogs, she instantly loved it here. We were so excited for her and the beautiful life she’d get to have! Fast forward six months and we finally made it back to visit 🥹🫶🏼 We never know if they’ll remember us or not, and I think she was a little confused at first — but once she got her smells in, she cuddled right up to us! Her and Bodie were hilarious together. I caught them several times sitting on the couch and hanging out in different corners like old friends catching up. Pemmy’s family was so hospitable, making us breakfast, coffee, and sharing all the hilarious Pemmy stories since adopting her! We loved hearing about all her little quirks and how her personality has continued to grow as she gains more confidence. We can’t thank Jane and Jamie (Pemmy’s parents) enough for their love and support — not only for our girl Pemmy, but for us and our mission. They’re our forever family too, and we’re so grateful we got to spend that time with them.
