First of all, I’m an orthopedic surgeon from toronto for an imaging study in Canada It takes about 12 to 18 months to get an appointment. That’s why 37% of imaging studies done in border towns in the US are Canadians paying out-of-pocket. MRIs cost nothing close to $4000 …in the United States competitively they’re usually under $500. If you want orthopedic surgery in Canada, you will wait 24 to 48 months ….the Canadian healthcare system is a disaster.
