Where Winds Meet is basically a mobile live-service game pretending to be a full PC release. The world looks amazing, but the moment you open the menus it’s the same mobile-style gacha layout: pop-ups, premium currencies, time-limited banners, multiple battle passes, and overpriced cosmetics. The shop is filled with $40 - $80 outfits and RNG pulls that can cost way more if you’re unlucky. The game itself is fun, but the monetization totally kills the vibe it feels like a free mobile MMO wearing a high-end PC skin.
