I think saying “it gets better” is answering the wrong question. What I know is, every day for years now I’ve woken up and been glad I chose to stay around. Every day I’ve woken up and been glad I live my life the way I do. Days aren’t always easy, aren’t even always better than they were. But I’ve never regretted in those dark moments believing that it would.

It’s deff been a roller coaster, it feels like it’s been dropping, but hopefully it’ll climb again.. it’s atleast deff better than living in a conservative Christian house hold with no agency at all.. so I think for kids it will most likely get better, for adults? It’s a wild ride, a bad one, a good one, a scary one. But the agency of adulthood even in this worsening climate will deff help, so kids and teens- it does, especially if you find queer community, I cannot stress the importance of that enough.
