Special mention to “Ted Lasso” not a movie…. But a great display of how real men mature. And show vulnerability.

Both Magic Mike movies are fantastic. So many of my friends question my sexuality when I say this but those guys are just insecure. The movies are great.

The fucking Irony of dudes misunderstanding 500 Days of Summer when the main character misunderstood the ending of the Graduate is very funny to me

The Princess Bride, Inigo Montoya, Westley and Fezzik are all so healthily masculine and polite with each other.
And the overarching plot of the boy and his grandfather is lovely.

I remember seeing Magic Mike 2 in cinemas and at the very last scene one woman (from a rowdy group who were drinking and whooping a LOT) just went ‘awwwwww’ really loudly

Magic Mike XXL also has the men talking about how to treat women right and be better partners and make women feel good which a lot of men need to hear

Just deleted my comment suggesting TLotR 😂 Every member of the Fellowship is an example of healthy masculinity, each in his own way, and they save the world through the power of their friendships. It slaps

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is such a good actor and makes such interesting choices in his roles.
I would also recommend reading The Body, the Stephen King novella Stand By Me is based on. There is a bit more depth to the characters, and I love it

I do see that this would show that men how to be vulnerable, however, reality shows that when we do try to be vulnerable to our partners they will most likely be turned off and/or use it against us. I agree that men should be able to show and work through their emotions in a healthy way, but this would not solve the loneliness epidemic, in fact it is what has caused it, men want to show their emotions, in a positive way, but keep getting abused because of it.
