Be aware that this is a very dangerous mindset. Allah swt says in the Quran, Surah Al Maidah, Aya 54 โO believers! Whoever among you abandons their faith, Allah will replace them with others who love Him and are loved by Him. They will be humble with the believers but firm towards the disbelievers, struggling in the Way of Allah; fearing no blame from anyone. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.โ Therefor Allah swt blesses whoever He swt wills with whatever He swt wills. In Surah Al Baqarah, Aya 261 Allah swt says โThe example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies หนthe reward even moreหบ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.โ The world itself does not reward anyone but it is Allah swt that created everything and nurtures everything. In a Sahih Hadith it says Sunan Ibn Majah 2144 It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) said: "O people, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking a living, for no soul will die until it has received all its provision, even if it is slow in coming. So fear Allah and be moderate in seeking provision; take that which is permissible and leave that which is forbidden." There is no limit to Allah swt provision as Allah swt is the best of Providers and the most Generous. Therefor we should never fear to miss out on something or there not being enough of something for everyone hence we must get there first or be devasted when we someone else gets something better/ what we wanted as you only ever will get what Allah swt wants you to have. However we can want the best of this world and the next so we should strive for it by obeying Allah swt in the best of manners to be amongst those whom Allah swt guides and has mercy upon so that Allah swt may reward us all with Jannatul Firdous.
