@rialley: Personal post: I share a lot of dogs on tiktok… but I wanted to share Alice with you all. My best friend of 11 years passed away yesterday, the dog who made me the person I am today. The one who rescued me so I could spend my life rescuing as many as I can. I have so much to thank Alice for, I’d spend forever typing it all out. I got her when I was 19 years old, we truly grew up together. She was a terribly hard “first dog” but I truly think she was exactly what I needed. She taught me patience, softness, and unconditional love. I just wanted to share a little piece of my heart with you all… you see my shelter babies but this is the one I came home to every night. She got me through my worst days and my best days and every day in between. I was the luckiest girl in the world to be her mom ❤️‍🩹
