For anyone who speaks English as a second language: if someone makes fun of your accent, constantly corrects you about the little things start speaking your native language. If they act confused say that "since my English level is not acceptable for you, I thought you would feel more comfortable if I spoke my language". It works wonders for me 🤷🏻‍♀️
