Growing up in the late 60's - 70's
We were always outside running around in the neighborhood. Anytime my friends and I decided to get into some mischief, and we were found out by any of our parents we would be disciplined by that parent, taken home and then individually disciplined by our respective parents. It was the way it was. Nothing out of the ordinary. It takes a village to raise a child. Because as parents, we are not always on hand at the moment discipline is required.

THAT'S HOW IT WAS WHEN I WAS A CHILD, NEIGHBORS ON THE BLOCK WOULD CORRECT US THEN TELL MY PARENTS THEN THEY CORRECT US MORE IF IT WAS NEEDED 👍 TODAY U CAN'T EVEN TALK TO SOME ONES ELSE'S CHILD WITH OUT GETTING CURSED OUT OR POLICE CALLED ON YOU 👍 OUR NEIGHBOR WAS LIKE A EXSTENDED FAMILY 👍 SAD THINGS HAS CHANGED SO MUCH 🤔

I don’t believe that an adult should put their hands on a child other then their own attempting to discipline them. If that man was white, that mother would be at the police station filing a complaint against him for child abuse
