What blew my mind was that if there is no hx of Perio treatment and it’s not being recommended now, you don’t state and grade them, they are simply prophy on reduced periodontium 🤯🤯🤯

Hey shelby! I have a question, maybe you can help me. we have been referring to a perio office we love, but recently every patient we refer, even if it's for only 1 tooth, they do LANAP procedure with SRP and then tell us that the patient can ONLY be seen at their office for PMs every 3 months and cannot come back to us. is there a reason for this that you know of? I'm not well versed with laser tx and have never worked in perio. thanks!

Funny how different periodontists/dentists will treatment plan differently. Sometimes even the stage /grade I find between periodontists is different than what I would have thought it to be. I guess the end goal is all tha same 😏
