@moveu: The pubic symphysis is the joint at the front of your pelvis, connecting the two halves of your pelvic bones. When this area is tight or restricted, it can contribute to hip pain, lower back discomfort, and difficulty with movements like squatting, lunging, or walking. Releasing tension here helps improve pelvic alignment, stability, and overall mobility. How to Self-Release: Block Squeeze: Lie down comfortably and place a yoga block or firm cushion between your knees. Squeeze as hard as you can, engaging your inner thighs. Hold for 5–10 seconds and release. Repeat a few times to activate and wake up the surrounding muscles. Stick Mobility: Take a stick, pvc pipe, dowel, etc. Place it behind one knee and in front of the other knee. Push gently against the stick behind the knee and pull gently against the stick in front. Switch sides and repeat. Tips: Move slowly and breathe steadily — avoid forcing the stretch. You should feel gentle release and tension relief, not sharp pain. This technique helps loosen fascia, improve pelvic mobility, and restore balance in the hips and lower body. Want More: Techniques like this are just one piece of the puzzle.
