One of my pups has has this issue for several years and we also have no answers on why. He's currently on twice daily steroid drops that only marginally help and it's sometimes so bad he can barely breathe

We had a similar issue and we found out that we had mold in our duct work. We got them cleaned and deep cleaned the whole house, all soft surfaces, and it fixed it. We were grateful.

My cat has similar issues and was diagnosed with a nasopharyngeal stenosis . It's pretty rare and it can also be found in dogs. It's a build up of scar tissue in the nasal passage and can cause fluid build up in the nose like that. it's diagnosed with a CT scan usually. It's difficult to treat so I hope it's not that but worth asking your vet about. Hope you get answers soon
